When I’m entertaining, I love recipes that can be made ahead of time so there’s one less thing for me to think about! These peanuts are easily made in advance, and stored in an airtight container for up to a week. They’re great warm or at room temperature. To reheat just warm in the oven at 350 for about 5-10 minutes!

I’m such a sucker for really good snack foods, and bourbon glazed peanuts are where it’s at! These are so addicting, and I love making a big batch for friends to enjoy when I’m entertaining. They also make a great hostess gift during the holidays, especially because they can be served immediately. Just wrap them up in a nice bag, and attach the recipe so they can make it again. Because I guarantee they’ll be asking you for it!

Description

Sweet, spicy and salty – these nuts are sure to be a hit at your next party! Do yourself a favor and make a double batch!


Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter, melted
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons Brown Sugar Bourbon
1/4-1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, depending on desired spiciness
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
2 cups unsalted peanuts


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine all ingredients except the peanuts in a large mixing bowl, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add the peanuts and stir to evenly coat. Spread the peanuts evenly and in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, or until fragrant. Allow to cool for a few minutes, and then gently break the nuts apart with your fingers. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container, and eat within a week!
